摘要

The structure of a digital synthesizer based on direct digital frequency synthesis is described. The synthesizer can operate in the frequency band of 0-10 MHz with a frequency step of < 0.005 Hz, the phase noise level is less than -140 dB/Hz, and the amplitude noise level is less than -60 dB/V. The synthesizer operates as a part of the radio system intended for probing short-wave communication channels. The device can be also used in wideband adaptive communication systems with program-controlled frequency tuning. As compared with synthesizers of other types, this synthesizer features an increased speed of operation and extended functional capabilities.
