New launch concept for FRC

Swedish-based company MSS Marine Safety Systems has successfully patented a launching device for fast rescue boats, having completed drop tests, side impact tests and sea trials, including docking at speed of 8kt on open seas. The novel FRC launch system, which is intended for use in severe adverse weather conditions as required by SOLAS, which moves with the motion of the boat.
