Level adjustments in german and international regulations

摘要

Impulsive sounds can be described in terms of maximum levels or single event levels. For their assessment in comparison with continous sounds of equal energy, level adjustments are applied. In German regulations they are up to 4 dB higher than in ISO 1996 for highly impulsive for highly impulsive sounds.
