The 2009 edition of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show, which took place on April 20 to 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States, gave weight on how the broadcasting industry cope with major challenges amid the impact of the economic crisis. While the prevailing industry trend gears toward the adoption of high-definition (HD) and of information technology (IT) in various broadcasting applications, many low-priced equipment and systems that feature general versatility were presented at this year's exhibition.
