摘要

This article provides an overview of several investigations and developments on capillary zone electrophoresis to specify and determine different sulfide and cyanicide (cyanide-consuming) species. Several capillary electrophoresis protocols were developed for synthetic solution preparations based on sulfur, sulfur-oxygen species, or metal-cyanide complexes, and then tested for the speciation and quantification from reactive aqueous solutions in contact with sulfide-rich ores or industrial minerals from cyanidation plants. Data published in this area have shown that capillary zone electrophoresis is a powerful tool to determine metallocyanides or sulfides species.
