Gerd Brand Named Head of Crosslinkers For Degussa's Coatings & Colorants Unit

Gerd Brand,currently president of Nippon Aerosil Co.Ltd.,Japan,and also head of the Aerosil standard product line,moved to Degussa's Coatings & Colorants Business Unit on July 1,2007.Following an orientation period,he will take over as head of the crosslinkers business line on Sept.l,2007.He succeeds Dr.Wilfried Schmidt,who,after more than 27 years of successful work for the company,will then be entering the release phase of partial retirement.
