Temasek, which as a sovereign wealth fund that has portfolio investments in companies around the world, is generally worried that having to comply with the disciplines outlined in the U.S. proposal on SOEs would put it at a commercial disadvantage compared to private companies, sources said. One source said the government of Singapore itself has raised similar worries about the U.S. proposal.
