This paper describes a new family of regenerative switching circuits called #x201c;Load-Coupled Regenerative Switching Circuits.#x201d; These circuits are built around a CMOS inverter in which a depletion device is used as a variable load. These circuit configurations are such that they can be realized with the conventional CMOS integrated circuit technology. These circuits have several attractive features which make them preferable to conventional regenerative circuits in many applications.
