In decision making, multiple model representations of linearoptimisation models are gaining growing interest and importance. Ininformation science, hypertext and scripting facilities, both ofwhich expand the expressiveness of simple text and graphic documents, have also become an important issue. In previous work the author hasdeveloped a graphical tool for creating and solving linearprogramming models. In this paper, we present an environment thatintegrates this graphical tool, a textual representation of linearoptimisation models and a hypertext system. Through a typical usersession, it is also shown how users interact with the environment andhow hypertext and scripting facilities can help users understandlinear optimisation.
