Pittcon 2007 ahead in visitor and exhibitor bookings

Pittcon 2007,the Pittsburgh Conference oh Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy,held in Chicago from the 25th February to the 2nd of March,is already "ahead on last years'exhibitor bookings and visitor numbers",Beth Kirol,the president of Pittcon 2007,told Instrumenta."Our aim is to hit and exceed the figures we achieved for Pittcon 2004," she added.Pittcon 2004,also held in Chicago,netted just over 25,000 visitors (see Instrumenta 20 (23/24)1),a long-time high bucking a declining trend in visitor numbers.Just under 2,000 companies were exhibiting in 2,700 booths.
