Qualcomm reprimanded in Broadcom patent case

Telecoms company Qualcomm Inc has been ordered to pay Broadcom Corp US8.6m for failure to provide over 46,000 documents in an ongoing patent dispute.Judge Barbara Major also referred six of Qualcomm's outside attorneys for possible disciplinary action for suppressing the documents,which undermined the company's case.
