It was interesting to read the article titled "The Reconstructive Microsurgery Ladder in Orthopedics" [1]. The authors have reviewed the history of microsurgery in orthopedics and introduced the concept of microsurgical reconstructive ladder which involves microsurgical reconstruction, which itself forms the top rung of the reconstructive ladder. However the authors have made two enormous historical errors which are painfully obvious in the article. We would like to correct those mistakes for the sake of posterity.
