Mercedes-Benz launched the new Vito van at the CV Show in April, claiming to be the first van manufacturer in the medium panel van sector to offer both front and rear-wheel-drive, using a Renault-Nissan Alliance 1.6-litre common rail diesel engine for the front-wheel-drive variants. Left-hand-drive versions were launched in mainland Europe last September.
