Korea Set To Decide In Google Dispute Over Map Data Export Restrictions

The South Korean government is scheduled on Aug. 25 to issue a final decision on whether to allow Google to transfer location-based data for mapping services to servers located outside of South Korea's borders, and whether to allow Google to display maps without blurring national security-sensitive areas as required under South Korean law.
