Malmstrom To Meet With Froman, Lawmakers During Washington Visit

European Union Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom will meet with U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman when she visits the U.S. capital next week to discuss the latest round of negotiations for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), according to a spokesman for the European Commission. The top trade officials will convene in Washington on May 4 as part of their commitment to communicate with each other after each round of the TTIP negotiations in an effort to increase the political oversight of the trade talks.
