Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Michael Punke this week said that three members of President Obama's cabinet last week pressed China to compromise in the talks for an expanded Information Technology Agreement (ITA), urging it to lower tariffs on products such as magnetic resonance imaging machines, computerized tomography scan machines and implantable medical devices.
