House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) this week indicated that his negotiations with Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) on legislation to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank are nearing an end, saying that the two are "pretty close to an agreement." "My sense is we want to get this done," Hoyer said during an April 24 press briefing. "And I think we are hopefully pretty close."
