French action on internet piracy

The French Government has accused internet users who download music and films without paying of theft.Nicolas Sarkozy,the Minister of the Interior,made the charge after meeting French performers as the National Assembly debated legislation which would punish anyone who infringed the copyright on digital works available on the internet.
