The European Union's lead negotiator for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) has roundly rejected U.S. efforts to remake the EU's legislative process so that it more closely resembles the approach followed by U.S. regulators in soliciting input from business and other stakeholders.
