Industries in discrete manufacturing face common prssures to streamline their business practices. A high percentage of product problems in design and engineering departments are attributable to lack of communication and coordianation. To help them overcome this gap, discrete manufacturers are inreasingly adopting product life-cycle management (PLM) as a strategy.
