Physical modeling of contaminant diffusion in environmental flows

AbstractThis paper illustrates the role of the selection of an appropriate mathematical representation of relevant physics to modify the requirements of both the quality and quantity of the data base required in the assessment of contaminant diffusion in two environmental flows. The underlying difficulties in selecting an ensemble that can actually be measured are exposed.
