The Vortex PhD is an in-line vortex shedding f lowmeter with fully-welded sensor construction,measures liquids,gas,or steam for improved overall plant control.The Vortex PhD has no moving parts or holes that can clog,no internal gaskets that could fail,and no need for bypass piping installation.With microprocessor-based electronics,a variety of product configurations,and rugged industrial construction,the Vortex PhD is designed for a wide range of process and HVAC applications.Accuracy is +- 0.7% of rate (liquids) and +- 1.0% (gas and steam),with +- 0.15% of rate repeatability.
