Single-operator knot-tying by knot-pusher for minimally invasive cardiac surgery

We describe a single-operator knot-tying technique using a knot-pusher for minimally invasive cardiac surgery. With this technique, the surgeon is able to control the tension on both suture ends in tightening knots without the aid of an assistant.
