Redescription ofJacobsonium dimerumHeller 1926, member of the rare tropical Indo-Australian genusSarothriasGrouvelle 1918 (Coleoptera Jacobsoniidae)

The holotype ofJacobsonium dimerumHeller 1926, previously thought to be destroyed and located now in Staatliches Museum f#xFC;r Tierkunde, Dresden, Germany, is redescribed and illustrated. A key to species of the genusSarothriasGrouvelle 1918 is provided. The species are well-characterized by the pattern formed by secretions on the elytra, and the shape of the metasternal depression.
