There has been overproduction on the sugarmarket of the World, because the rate of canesugar is increasing (the low costs of production) and the expansion of sweeteners. Sugarbeet might be competitive if the costs of production were lower. However it means not only the cost decreasing but the increasing of sugarbeet yield and quality as well. In this situtation the research plays important role because that could create the basis of development. The points of break out could be the follwings: precision farming, computer aid forecast and advisory system, biological protection, and biotechology. A survey of research at Sopronhorpacs was given for example: sugarbeet with tramilines, N and K calibration researches, weed control, examintion of rhizomania tolerant varieties, forecast systems for fungal diseases, and common IIRB trial in pest control. The newest results of remote sensing and information technology are being investigated and put into the practice. The partial sensing and information technology are being investigated and put into the practice. The partial results proved that sugerbeet could keep its leader position by using new technologies and it could be the most developing sector of agriculture.
