SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1 XX763 arrived at the Bournemouth Aviation Museum for preservation on September 26. Built by BAC at Preston, Lancs, this aircraft was first flown on May 12,1975, and was displayed at the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget soon after. After years of service with 226 Operational Conversion Unit and 54 Sguadron, it was assigned to ground instructional duties with 4 School of Technical Training at St Athan, Wales. The airframe was bought by Aviation Trading and was moved to Winterpick Business Park at Wineham, West Sussex, by February 2007. The Jaguar is now on permanent loan to the Dorset museum.
