Global behaviour of large elastic tube bundles immersed in a fluid

摘要

The computation of the dynamical behaviour of heat exchangers is difficult because the number of tubes is very high. In order to surmount this difficulty, the homogenization technique is used for replacing the tube-fluid system by an equivalent continuous medium. The homogenized equations describe the global behaviour of the bundle and they are easier to be solved. The case of viscous fluid is briefly sketched.
