Treatment of micturitional disorders in the Shy‐Drager syndrome with oxybutynin chloride and self intermittent catheterization
AbstractPatients with Shy‐Drager syndrome complain of frequency, urgency, and urge incontinence associated with urinary retention. We report our experience with three cases. Urodynamic evaluation showed detrusor hyperreflexia with low amplitude detrusor contractions. Symptoms have been well controlled by means of oxybutynin chloride and intermittent self catheterizatio
