Gauss accelerator is a very famous toy that uses magnetic effects. Although magnetic energy is known to be essential to the phenomena of this toy, in which magnetic force causes a ball to accelerate, this energy has not been studied much. In this study, the velocity of iron balls is estimated under the assumption that the magnetic energy is diplole energy.
