Takeda Chemical Industries,Ltd.of Osaka,Japan,and Beth Isreal Deasconess Medical Center (BIDMC) of Boston,Massachusetts,announced on January 10 that they had signed a research agreement toinvestigate the molecular basis of diabetes and obesity and to develop new therapies for these metabolic diseases.
