China's low-sulphur green petroleum coke imports quadrupled in December, offsetting a sharp drop in shipments of highersulphur specifications. China's overall coke imports rose to just under 300,000t that month. About 243,000t of that was green coke with less than 3pc sulphur, about four times as much as the 61,500t of low-sulphur coke imported a year earlier, according to Chinese customs data.
