Oftentimes you may find it convenient to have a list of your layer properties in a spreadsheet file such as an Excel file. But what isn't convenient is the time it takes to type this information into the file. Instead, you can use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to create a program that will do this for you. In this article, we'll show you how to set up a VBA program that sends selected layer properties to an Excel spreadsheet, as shown in Figure A.
