In MC-CDMA, the influence of multipath interference is eliminated by adding the guard interval. However, receiving characteristics is significantly degraded in case that delayed paths exceeding guard interval arrive. Delay profile (i.e. the form of multipath) is generally complicated, and receiving characteristics varies by which delay profile is applied. So, in this paper, we propose the equivalent path model which has two paths and can agree with a transmission characteristics equivalently under the multipath environment with delayed paths exceeding guard interval, and we clarified the validity of this proposed model.
