Ratchet up simple edits with MDT's Power Manipulator

Quite often when working on 3-D assembly models, you need to rely on traditional manipulation tools to temporarily move parts around. You may need to move a part to apply a constraint to another part that was previously hidden. Exposing parts is sometimes necessary to take measurements. Or you simply may want to visualize your design. In AutoCAD, these tools would most commonly be the MOVE, COPY, and ROTATE commands. Since Mechanical Desktop runs on top of AutoCAD, these same tools would apply. However, for a streamlined approach, Mechanical Desktop has combined three tools for part manipulation into a single tool called the Power Manipulator. In this article, we'll discuss how to use the Power Manipulator for temporarily relocating parts within an assembly.
