Like many AutoCAD users, you may need to deliver an entire set of drawings for each project. For example, an architect creates a plan view for each floor, elevation views, one or more section views, schedules of doors and windows, and perhaps annotation sheets, and so on. Mechanical engineers also create sets of sheets containing various views. You may want a cover page listing all the sheets. Many of your drawings reference other drawings and you need to number all of the sheets consecutively. Whenever the project changes (as it always does), you need to renumber every sheet and correct each reference. The process of creating and managing all these sheets can be extremely time-consuming. This article explains how to use the sheet set feature to manage all these drawings.
