The last Issue (July/August 2015) of the INFOFISH International carried an article on Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) for Ornamental Fish (Part I). We now conclude the series on RAS with thefollowing article (Part II).Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) technology is still relatively new to ornamental fish, with applications mainly in Western countries, but there are a growing number of farmers exploiting this technology due to its relatively smaller 'footprint' as well as the better disease and quality control measures that these systems give over more traditional culture systems.
