摘要

A Schiff-based fluorescence probe benzene-l,2-dicarbaldehyde bis-benzoyl hydrazide (L) was designed and synthesized. Its sensing behavior toward metal ions has been investigated by absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. Indicator L showed high selectivity to Zn~(2+) in various solvents, whereas other metal ions failed to induce response. Especially Cd~(2+), which has similar chemical properties with Zn~(2+), can be distinguished from Zn~(2+) obviously.
