The reaction of [{P(mu-N~tBu)}_2(mu-NH)}_5I]~-[Li(thf)_4]~+([l centre dot I]~-[Li(thf)_4]~+) with NaOMe in CH_2C1_2 gives the title compound [{P(mu-N~tBu)}_2(mu-NH)]_5(CH_2Cl_2)_2 [1 centre dot (CH_2C1_2)_2] the first adduct containing this type of macrocyclic phosph(III)azane host and a neutral guest.
