A new one-dimensional copper-molybdenum bimetallic oxide compound with coordinated 2-PBIM:[Cu(2-PBIM)MoO_4](2-PBIM = 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole)

摘要

A new one-dimensional copper-molybdenum bimetallic compound[Cu(2-PBIM)MoO_4](1)(2-PBIM = 2-(2-pyridyl)benzimidazole)has been hydrothermally synthesized.X-ray structure analysis has revealed that compound 1 contains left-handed and right-handed helical chains,which are built up from copper-molybdenum bimetallic oxide building block and further interconnected to form the ladder-shaped chains through mu_2-O.The ladder-shaped chains are integrated via hydrogen bonding to form a 3D framework with channels in it.
