The boundaries of property. Rethinking the relations between subjects, goods and resources in the XXI century

Piketty does not explore the relationship between capital and capitalism and moreover, he focuses on the objective nature of the capital neglecting its procedural character. Therefore the French economist seems to offer a large fresco, historically contextualized and critical ' but poorly spatialized ' especially on property, its extreme transformations and its systemic impacts. Piketty opens many unresolved questions and allows us, at first, to undermine one of the fundamental dichotomies of modernity: the opposition public / private and than, to discuss other perspectives and new relationships between subjects, goods and resources. We propose, starting from practices of commoning, to identify the "common" as a space of living relationships, strongly territorialised, potentially expansive and radically subversive.
