New Process to Produce Biodiesel from Agricultural Waste

Agricultural activities produce a considerable amount of agricultural waste. A portion of that waste is recycled and used as fertilizer, but a large amount of waste remains unused. This creates a disposal problem of those unused wastes. The common practice is to burn those wastes in the field. But this uncontrolled burning will lead to wasting a significant amount of recoverable energy and also create a potential hazard. To address this problem, many research initiatives are underway across the globe to discover innovative biofuel production processes from agricultural wastes.
