ATX, MicroATX: These are the two most common "form factors" (or standard sizes) of PC motherboard. ATX boards are, predictably, larger, measuring 9.6×12 inches versus Micro-ATX's 9.6×9.6 inches. Your PC case must support the form factor of the motherboard for the board to fit inside properly.
