Growing energy demand has led to a lot of researchtoward producing biofuels. Scientists across the globe haveincreased their research efforts to find a sustainableecofriendly way to produce biofuels that can meet existingdemands. Similarly to that of energy, water is anotherresource that has become of greater demand in most aridand semiarid regions of the world. Untreated wastewater fromvarious sources that reach groundwater or fresh river streamsare in no way helpful in current water scarcity problems.
