Registration of Preoperative CTA and Intraoperative X-ray Images -Validation of Registration Algorithm Using Clinical Data-

We validated a registration method between preoperative CT image and intraoperative fluoroscopic images using clinical data. In this method, we calculate matching measures between DRR and fluoroscopic images iteratively by changing imaging parameters. The most similar DRR to matching measures is selected. We investigated precision of our algorithm because it is difficult to calculate accuracy for clinical data: ①Standard deviation of registration result for different initial parameter settings in initial frame. ②Reproducibility of registration result in changing initial frames. As a result, it is found that our method is successfully applied to clinical data.
