AN ART RESEARCH PROJECT FOR A GEOMETRY COURSE

Non-science majors can be drawn into the excitement of mathematics when it is related to something such as the visual arts that is more familiar to them. This paper describes a research project in which students apply fundamental concepts of geometry to works of art that they have chosen to study.
