By now, you are probably saying, "Enough about props already. We get the message" Well, here's my final comment. Just buy three props from Superior, already formed to exact diameter and pitch, sand nicely thin, cover with 00 Silkspan, three coats of dope, then try them out on your favorite model. They should be 6-inch diameter by 7-, 9- and 11-inch pitch. Also get one of their "never fail" free wheel prop mounts so you can easily switch. Now, get out to the field on a calm day and try each prop on the same model, using the same rubber with the same winds. If you don't see a big difference forget the whole idea. But if you do see a difference, get an assortment of 7- and 8-inch props to try on several models. You may never be the same. Superior Props, 516 Driftwood Circle, Slidell, LA 70458, 985-726-9673.
