Rio de Janeiro—Brazil’s government has made progress in making the country’s upcoming 14th round sale of oil and natural gas exploration and production concessions more attractive, but work still needs to be done, industry officials said Tuesday. Brazil’s National Petroleum Agency, or ANP, received 413 separate comments from 24 different oil companies, service suppliers, equipment providers, trade groups and law offices on the 14th bid round’s rules and concession contract. The comments were discussed during a public audience hosted by the ANP on Tuesday.
