摘要

Perdeuterated and partially deuterated polyisobutenes (--CD_2C(CD_3)_2_x--,--CH_2C(CD_3)_2_x--and --CD_2C(CH_3)_2_x--) of a molar mass of 1000 g/mol to 20 000 g/mol and of a polydispersity of M-bar_w/M-bar_n<1.3 have been synthesized via living carbocationic polymerization of the corresponding monomers (CD_2 = C(CD_3)_2, CH_2 = C(CD_3)_2 and CD_2=C(CH_3)_2). Three initiator systems were used, 2,2,4-trimethyl-2-methoxypentane, 2-chloro-2,2,4-trimethylpentane and 2-phenyl-2-propanol, in combination with BCl_3 or TiCl_4 in dichloromethane and hexane. Furthermore, this method was successfully applied in the synthesis of block copolymers containing deuterated and non-deuterated segments and of partially deuterated polyisobutenes with terminal sulfonate groups.
