摘要

Some complexes of rare earth isothiocyanates with dicyclohexyl-24-crown-8(DCH24C8) have been prepared using anhydrous tetrahydro-furan as reaction medium. These new complexes with the general formula RE(NCS)3-DCH24C8-nH2O (RE=La(III), Ce(HI), Pr(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Eu(III), Gd(III), Tb(III), Dy(III), Ho(III), Er(III), Lu(III) and Y(III); n = 1, 2, 3) have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, conductivity measurements, thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA) techniques. In the complexes the ligand DCH24C8 and isothiocyanate groups are coordinated to the metal ions, while the water molecules are not coordinated to the metal ions.
