The Journal of Ambulatory Care Management presents the original publication of the proceedings of the Conference on Primary Care Delivery, Education and Research in Teaching Hospitals. This national conference was sponsored by Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York and presented by the Department of Ambulatory Care Services, North Central Bronx Hospital (NCBH), September 28–30, 1977. The proceedings will be published in three parts. The first installment, appearing in this issue, deals with delivery of services. It is divided into four sections which describe different models of delivery: NCBH Outpatient Department, Montefiore Hospital Medical Group Practice, Martin Luther King Health Center and Valentine Lane Family Practice. Authors of each section are listed at the end of each author's contribution. A fifth section includes a panel discussion of the various models of delivery. The second and third installments of the proceedings will deal with primary care education and research, respectively.
